There are phishing emails circulating, pretending to be from "Alex at Brightside Studios." It's important to distinguish these emails to avoid falling victim and to mark them as phishing attempts. Here's how to check if they're genuine:

Check the Sending Domain

Emails from me will always come from an official ilovebrightside.com domain. Be wary of any suspicious or unfamiliar email addresses.

Look for Personalization

Genuine emails often include personalized information or references that only someone with a legitimate connection would know, such as "Hi (first name)" instead of just "Hi,"

Examine the Content

If the email contains urgent requests for personal information, money, or suspicious links, it's likely a scam.

If you ever receive an email that seems fishy, it probably is! Always trust your instincts.

To protect yourself and others, mark these emails as phishing!

How to mark an email as Phishing

- First, open the suspicious email.

- In most email clients like Gmail and Outlook, look for a "Report" or "Junk" button in the top menu.

- You can also click on the three dots (•••) or a "More" menu to find the option to "Report phishing" or "Report junk."

By marking these emails as phishing, you help ensure they end up in the spam folder next time, safeguarding both your inbox and others’. Stay safe and keep an eye out!
